“ Different and fantastic. The guys have had a tough time getting their new place up and running, what with covid, etc. Anyway they are back and it's brilliant as ever. Starters between 3.00 & 9.00. Mains 14.00 or 15.00. Desserts 7.50. Try anything that comes with the aubergine puree. Basically try it all. You won't be disappointed. Friendly service, good portions, and, for London, reasonably priced. Expect 40.00 or so per head with a couple of alcoholic drinks and service. I recommend the charred broccoli. Oh and the baclava cheesecake is amazing. Brunch menu launching soon, as will be cake and coffee during the day. Just go. x ”

“ The food is amazing, great drinks choices and nice spot. The service is a bit strange. We arrived at 1pm and it took until 1:15pm to get a drinks order. It felt like the waiting staff were avoiding our eye contact and we had to put a lot of effort in to flag them down. This isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this at the Lacy nook and you do have to really work to put your order in. During our meal we were told 3 times they needed the table back at 14:30. I finished the last bite of my main and they instantly bought the card machine over at 14:10. We would’ve loved a dessert and could’ve had one if the service was faster at the start. Lovely place, will go back, but the staff should focus on attending to the needs of the customers in the restaurant rather than avoiding their orders and then rushing them out the door. ”

“ The restaurant is a spot on! I feel like I am in the beach ... somewhere nice on a holiday! The atmosphere is 10 out of 10 The food is delicious very yummy! I definitely recommend to try out the pork and the all starters Delicious Orange wine too ... and some amazing Bulgarian wine - just try! ”

“ What an absolute find this restaurant was. I have been fawning over this menu for weeks and I finally got to visit. First of all the vibes of this place are immaculate. Lovely covered indoor/outdoor seating. The music was on point and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The menu reads so well and we had a hard time nailing down only a few dishes. We could have had the whole menu but there were only 2 of us. After we decided we checked with our server that we’d ordered enough and she said we were bang on. Every single dish was so delicious it’s hard to pick a favourite. The food came out as it was ready which was absolutely fine. I love a good graze and these dishes are perfect for that. We paired our delicious dishes with a bottle of white wine called Friendsips. Totally apt for a girlie friend date. We will definitely be back to The Lacy Nook. I want to try the rest of the menu. ”

The place is not big but small and cosy, staff are friendly and helpful, I wasn't expecting much from the coffee but as coffee lover I can say it was really really nice. The food was delicious, very tasty, well presented and they were happy to help me to make my dish vegetarian and replace bacon for mushrooms. Thanks! ”

“ Went for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere. Has the feeling of a pop up that's done so well it's made a home. Feels like a hidden gem in the middle of a warm community spirit. Bloody Mary's to die for, never had one with bacon before! Sadly there was no dessert as all the Saturday evening diners had eaten them all! Will definitely come back. ”
